Finny and Morty bounded up the stairs, running as fast as they could with all of Finny's suitcases before Morty slammed into the door first.
"I win!" Morty panted.
"I don't know how someone can run that fast with two guitar cases and a backpack." Finny laughed. "Let's see what it looks like!"
Finny fished around in his pocket before pulling out his key. He turned it in the lock, making a snug click. Both boys kicked open the door and rushed into the room.
"Aw, sweet!" Finny shouted in the room. It was spacious inside, with a bunk bed, desks, and its own bathroom.
"Let's get unpacking." Morty said to Finny, opening up one of his suitcases.

Finny threw his clothes into one of the dressers, not really caring about folding them. Next came his backpack, which was crammed with sheet music. Finny tossed it into a corner.
Finny turned his attention to the black guitar bag that Morty was holding. Morty gave a little nod and handed the case to Finny. Finny opened it and drew out a beat-up Les Paul. Even though it had been through a lot, including an exploding amp, Finny treasured his guitar as if it was made out of gold. He had even gone so far to spray paint a red X on it that matched the scar over his eye.
Morty plugged in an amp while Finny plugged in his guitar. He strummed it a few times, checking the strings and tuning it. Satisfied, Finny took a pick out of his pocket and gave an impish smile at Morty.
"Name your song." he said
"Let's go with some Aerosmith." Morty said, and Finny started playing Angel, sliding an extra demon arm from under his shirt to help with the difficult riffs.
Zack walked down the hall, dragging just about every single drum that he owned. He had originally planned to bring only enough for a modest drumset, but he snuck a few more cymbals and snares under Evan's nose.
He stopped when he reached his room, and heard a guitar playing from inside. His roomate must already be here. Zack gave a rap on the door with his knuckles and opened it.
