Yes Kori Winters had been running through the hallways and yes Kori Winters had been running through with no socks, but her now sliced leg had nothing to do with those two things combined with the newly cleaned floor... it was the sharp edged bench's fault.
"Hold still." Brett Huntington, Kori's long time friend defended as Kori let out a groan, not wanting to sit still on the bed in the nurse's wing.
"Why?" Kori attacked, crossing her arms and letting out a small pout. Brett just rolled his eyes and ignored her. A few minutes later Brett became excited when the door opened, believe it to be the nurse, but it turned out only to be Chris Smith walking into the room with a sliced arm.
'Great,' Brett thought to himself, trying not to roll his eyes at the sight of his first enemy. Not even one week into school and he already had someone he didn't like. It was all because Chris was just too personal with kori.
"Hey Kori!" He greeted, completely ignoring Brett.
"Hi," She waved back, dangling her feet over the bed she was on, blood dripping down her leg.
"What happened?" Was his question of concern, so then started the story telling of how each other got injuries. Brett nearly barfed from boredom. Was that even possible?
"That's so typical that you broke a window the second day of school." Brett let out a small chuckle, causing Chris to narrow his eyes defensively.
"What's that supposed to mean?" he quarreled. Thus started a little fight.

Dinah walked into the nurse's wing, her head pounding. All the idiots screaming in the game room had given her such a headache...
She was mildly surprised to find to boys there about to tear eachother to pieces. 'This should be fun...' Dinah let a small smirk escape her lips.

"Will you two cut it out?" Kori asked, rolling her eyes, trying hard not to laugh. The boys were acting like such idiots! "You two sound like a bunch of babies." She stated matter-of-factly. Brett and Chris both turned their glare to Kori. She raised her hands defensively, stifling a chuckle.
"Sorry," Chris mumbled incoherently, plopping down on the bed next to Kori.
Despite not wanting to leave Kori alone with Chris, Brett was quite bored with hanging out in the nurse's wing. "I have to get going Kori. I will see you later." He waved, before departing. Kori and Chris hardly noticed the other girl that had walked into the room.

"Hey. What was that about? You two looked like you were going to destroy eachother." Dinah smirked and sauntered over to the remaining boy and the girl.
"Ugh. I wish the nurse would just come already." Dinah said, massaging her temples. "I got a headach from the idiots screaming around in the game room. And I'm guessing you put your hand through a window." she gave a crooked smile in Chris's direction.
"I'm Dinah."

"Hi," Kori replied to Dinah."My name is Kori. What year are you?" She inquired.
Chris raised a brow at this 'Dinah'. He didn't seem to like her much, mostly because she was so straight forward. "Yes... I did..." he responded to her 'guess'. "My name is Chris." He introduced, trying to avoid any elbowing from Kori for his rude behavior.

"Frosh." Dinah replied. She rolled her eyes. "I've been getting so much crap from the seniors. They're so full of themselves. One of the groups that were bugging me said that it was a senior tradition to prank the fresh meat."
"So anyway, what can you do? You must have been invited here for some reason."

"Frosh?" Kori leaned over and asked Chris. Chris clarified it for her and her eyes widened. "Oh! Us as well. Yes, those seniors are quite mean."
At the next question Kori made an uneasy cough to try and buy time to figure out what to say. The truth was she wasn't sure what her powers were. All she knew was that strange things happened sometimes when her emotions got too strung up.
"Well... I have super strength." Chris half lied, butting in for Kori. He took note of the uneasy look on her face.

"That's cool." Dinah smirked. "But what will you do if you can't touch anything you can't use your strength on?"
She smiled and pointed to one of the beds. "I'll show you what I can do. Watch that pillow."
Dinah extended her hand and made a series of intricate movements with it. The pillow rose up by itself, floating around the room. She made a quick movement with her hand, and the pillow threw itself at Chris.
Dinah grinned and tapped her head with her finger. "Telekenetic." she said.

Chris wasn't very impressed with Dinah's powers. She just moved a pillow around in the air, only to throw it at him. He quickly grabbed the pillow, moving only his arm and his hand. Then he put the pillow down, a bit peeved.
"Um... cool... I guess..." he trailed off, putting his head down. Why did she have to have it so easy? Her powers weren't the best but they certainly weren't the worst. She didn't go through all the pain that he went through every full moon... she didn't have to deal with the curse that was placed on him that would kill him soon.

Dinah thingyed her head as she looked as Chris's expression as he caught the pillow. There was a lot of pain there, and frustration.
"Something's bugging you. What is it?" She asked.

"You." Chris replied simply and coldly. He received an elbow from Kori for his rudeness.
"He doesn't mean that," Kori replied quickly. "He just doesn't like to talk about his powers." She guessed. She didn't know Chris very well but knew that he didn't like to talk about his powers. For some reason he was hiding something from her.. maybe later she could get close enough to him so that he could open up.

Sakura had throbbing pain in her cut hand. First day at Hall's Academy and she already wounds herself. Her hand was sliced across, bleeding badly. Somehow she sliced it open by it rubbing against something sharp by accident. She already washed it off and wrapped it around in a cloth to keep it from infection, but it was best that the nurse see it.
Entering the Nurse's Wing, she saw some other students, probably also hurt. "Great" she mumbled. "That's all I need. Now I'll have to wait"
She took a seat, hoping nobody will come talk to her.
